This vase is shaped, decorated and finished entirely by hand without the use of moulds. Variations in form, surface and drawing are part of the making process and contribute to the individuality of the piece.
Visible marks, irregularities and traces of firing are intentionally preserved rather than removed. They are evidence of the object's handmade nature and make each piece impossible to reproduce exactly.
