Tiles & Compositions


I have always been fascinated by the way small parts can become something larger.
These tiles are built around that idea.
Some form complete images across multiple pieces. Others are intentionally fragmented, allowing different combinations, arrangements and interpretations. A line begins on one tile and continues on another. A character appears only in part. A story is suggested rather than fully revealed.
Working in this way transforms drawing into something more open. The image is no longer fixed. It can shift, expand and create new relationships depending on how the pieces are brought together.
The visual language remains familiar: characters, plants, symbols and imagined landscapes move across the surface, appearing and disappearing from one tile to the next. Each element is painted by hand, making every composition slightly different and impossible to replicate exactly.
These pieces sit somewhere between drawing, object and puzzle — inviting curiosity, experimentation and the pleasure of discovering connections.

Custom Tile Commissions
I create bespoke tile compositions for homes, workspaces and special projects.
Each commission is developed individually, taking into account the space, dimensions and visual direction of the project. Designs may range from small framed compositions to large-scale tile panels.
Every piece is hand-painted and created specifically for its intended setting.
Custom tile commissions start at €1,000 for larger works.
