Part container, part miniature architecture, this piece combines drawing and sculpture into a small imagined landscape. Figures, symbols, doorways and plants move across the surface, creating the feeling of a place that exists somewhere between memory and invention.

This piece is built, decorated and finished entirely by hand without the use of moulds. Variations in form, drawing, surface and firing are part of the process and contribute to its individuality.
Visible marks, irregularities and traces of making are intentionally preserved rather than removed. They reflect the object's handmade nature and make each piece impossible to reproduce exactly.
